Part-time, permanent | Minimum 12 hours per week | Papanui, Christchurch

We're looking for a part-time salesperson to join our Papanui team, covering weekends plus extra shifts when they come up. This is a permanent position for someone who enjoys helping customers find the right bike and gear.

Hours

We guarantee a minimum of 12 hours a week. Ideally you'll be available both Saturday and Sunday. If you can only commit to one weekend day, still apply: we may take on two part-timers to cover our needs. Extra shifts are available during busy periods and to cover leave.

What The Role Involves

• Selling bikes, parts, accessories and workshop services
• Delivering excellent customer service in store, by phone and online
• Booking in bikes for servicing and handing completed repairs back to customers
• Restocking shelves, receiving freight and helping with stocktakes
• Keeping merchandising, store presentation and housekeeping to standard
• From time to time, light mechanical work such as puncture repairs and bike assembly. Training is provided and it isn't an expectation of the role

What We're Looking For

• Customer-facing retail or sales experience
• A genuine interest in bikes and riding
• Available to work weekends, with flexibility for extra shifts
• Reliable, with clear communication skills and a professional, can-do attitude

Previous bike shop experience is an advantage, but not essential for the right person.
