About the role
Founded in 2015, Oh Polly is a fast-growing, global fashion brand known for its premium, trend-led designs, distinctive aesthetic and strong social media presence. We’ve built a combined social following of over 10 million across our brands, including Bo+Tee, our activewear line. Our brands connect with a highly engaged, digitally native audience through compelling creative content, influencer partnerships and a constantly evolving approach to social media. Operating across multiple global offices, we are a dynamic team offering ambitious individuals the chance to thrive, grow, and take their careers to the next level.
We're looking for a talented and commercially minded Videographer & Content Creator who can bring our products, campaigns and brand stories to life through engaging, high-quality video content. You will play a key role in producing video content across Oh Polly's digital channels, with a particular emphasis on TikTok, Instagram Reels, paid social advertising and campaign content.
You will be responsible for both filming and editing, working closely with the Content, Social Media, Creative and Marketing teams to develop videos that capture attention, strengthen our brand identity and encourage engagement and conversion.
This role requires someone who combines strong technical videography skills with an excellent understanding of social media trends, fashion content and the creative approaches that make content successful. You should be equally comfortable producing beautifully shot, premium fashion content and more spontaneous, authentic, social-first videos.
Plan, shoot and produce engaging video content for Oh Polly's social media platforms, website and marketing campaigns.
Film a wide range of content including product-focused videos, campaign footage, behind-the-scenes content, model shoots, lifestyle content and short-form social videos.
Capture premium, visually compelling footage that showcases product design, fit, fabric, movement and styling.
Take ownership of lighting, camera operation, composition, audio and other technical elements of video production.
Adapt filming techniques to suit different content objectives, from polished campaign productions to fast-paced, organic social content.
Work both independently and alongside photographers, stylists, models and other creative team members.
Edit engaging, high-quality videos optimised for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Meta advertising and other digital platforms.
Produce multiple creative variations and cutdowns from shoots to maximise content output.
Incorporate music, sound design, transitions, captions, graphics and effects where appropriate.
Ensure videos are optimised for platform-specific formats, viewing behaviours and audience expectations.
Maintain a consistent standard of colour grading, editing quality and visual presentation.
Organise and maintain video footage and project files to support efficient content production.
Proactively identify emerging trends, creative formats and filming techniques relevant to Oh Polly's target audience.
Contribute original content ideas that align with the brand's positioning and commercial objectives.
Understand the differences between content designed to build brand desirability, generate engagement and drive direct sales.
Collaborate with Social Media and Marketing teams to develop video concepts based on trends, product launches and campaign priorities.
Experiment with different hooks, storytelling techniques, editing styles and formats to improve performance.
Translate social media trends into content that feels distinctive to Oh Polly rather than simply copying competitors.
Support seasonal campaigns, new collection launches, collaborations and product-focused marketing activity.
Work closely with the wider Creative team to translate briefs into effective video concepts.
Ensure that video content accurately represents garments, including their fit, detail, fabric and movement.
Capture versatile footage that can be repurposed across organic social, paid advertising, website content and email marketing.
Contribute to the development of creative concepts and shot lists ahead of productions.
Support content production at events, influencer activations and on-location shoots when required.
Work with the Social Media and Performance Marketing teams to understand which videos are generating the strongest results.
Use performance insights to refine filming styles, creative formats, video hooks and editing approaches.
Identify opportunities to improve the volume, speed and effectiveness of video production without compromising quality.
Build a library of effective creative formats that can be repeated, adapted and improved.
Stay informed about developments in video production technology, editing tools and social media platforms.
Proven experience in videography and video editing, ideally within fashion, beauty, lifestyle or a similarly visual consumer brand.
A strong portfolio demonstrating excellent filming, editing and creative storytelling capabilities.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or equivalent editing software.
Strong technical understanding of cameras, lenses, lighting, composition, frame rates and colour grading.
Excellent understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels and short-form video content.
Ability to create both premium, high-production-value content and authentic, social-native videos.
Strong creative instincts, with an understanding of visual aesthetics, music, pacing and storytelling.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver content to tight deadlines.
A proactive, collaborative attitude with the confidence to suggest new ideas and approaches.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining brand standards.
Previous experience working with a fashion or premium direct-to-consumer brand.
Experience creating paid social advertising content designed to drive conversion.
Knowledge of motion graphics and Adobe After Effects.
Experience directing talent, models or influencers on camera.
Experience shooting fashion shows, campaigns, events or international productions.
Understanding of social media analytics and creative performance metrics.
Experience with mobile-first content creation and rapid-turnaround editing.
