About the role

About the role

We're looking for a dedicated, analytical HR professional to ensure payroll accuracy, keep our pay structures competitive, and strengthen the link between performance and rewards.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll & HRIS

  • Oversee monthly payroll processing: review inputs, validate calculations, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure payslips are issued on time through our HR system.
  • Ensure payroll complies with Egyptian payroll tax and social insurance requirements.
  • Strengthen payroll controls, data accuracy, and HRIS reporting and workflows.
  • Handle complex or sensitive employee payroll inquiries.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Benchmark salaries using reliable market data and update pay bands.
  • Assess internal pay equity and recommend adjustments with clear cost implications.
  • Run the annual salary review and merit cycle, and support payroll budgeting and forecasting.
  • Review job evaluation and grading, benefits programs, and bonus and incentive schemes.

Performance Management

  • In partnership with Talent Management, own the link between performance and reward: scoring methods, appraisal tools, and performance-based pay decisions.
  • Support department heads in improving KPI frameworks.

Policies & Employment Terms

  • Develop and update HR policies, the employee handbook, SOPs, and approval workflows.
  • Prepare and review employment contracts, and advise on personnel procedures.
  • Present analyses, cost implications, and recommendations to HR leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in compensation & benefits and payroll, including performance management.
  • Proven experience in salary benchmarking, pay band design, and job evaluation and grading.
  • Strong knowledge of current Egyptian Labour Law, payroll taxation, and social insurance.
  • Experience developing HR policies, handbooks, SOPs, and KPI or appraisal tools.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with automated HR/payroll systems (ZenHR is a plus).
  • A clear communicator who can explain pay matters to employees and present recommendations to management.
  • High standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and professional judgment.

What we offer

  • A competitive compensation package with a full range of benefits.
  • A strong, healthy, and supportive work environment.
  • The opportunity to make a real impact on how we reward and develop our people
