About the role
Since 2003, Luzern eCommerce has been helping leading global brands grow their online business. We partner with brands including Panasonic, Reebok, Stokke, KIKO, Next, Twining's, Canon, Bondi Sands and Philips, helping them accelerate growth and deliver exceptional customer experiences across major marketplaces including Amazon and Zalando, branded webstores and social platforms.
Backed by significant investment, Luzern is an international, technology-led eCommerce business with an ambitious growth strategy. Our AI-enabled Channel Optimizer platform, combined with our eCommerce expertise, helps brands manage and grow their presence across increasingly complex digital channels.
As we continue to grow and evolve, we are looking for talented people who enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and want to play an active role in the next stage of Luzern's development.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Marketplace professional with deep Amazon Vendor and Seller expertise, a strong drive for results and a passion for building great teams and client partnerships.
As a Senior Marketplace Manager, you will own the strategy and commercial performance of some of our most important brands on Amazon, while leading and developing a team of Marketplace Managers. You will bridge the gap between commercial strategy and day-to-day execution, and help our clients grow beyond Amazon into the wider marketplace landscape.
You will have a minimum of 5 years in Marketplace or Account Management, with at least 3 years hands-on with Amazon (agency or brand side) and experience in a senior or team lead role.
You will have deep, practical knowledge of both Amazon Vendor Central and Seller Central, with a proven track record of scaling brands across both models.
You will have a strong understanding of Amazon Advertising and how media, retail readiness and commercials combine to drive profitable growth.
You will have proven people management experience – developing, motivating and holding a team to a high standard.
You will have strong commercial acumen – comfortable with margin, profitability and setting and owning commercial targets.
You will have a strong analytical skill set, with advanced Excel and experience of tools such as Helium 10, Keepa or PowerBI.
You will have seasoned presentation skills, with the confidence to manage senior stakeholder expectations and deliver difficult messages backed by data.
You will have the ability to operate at a strategic level, yet remain close enough to the details to troubleshoot issues and be a real support to your team.
You have strong attention to detail and the ability to manage and prioritise multiple client requirements.
Business proficiency in English is essential.
