What is the role?

We are looking for an experienced Senior Campaign Manager to join our Marketing & Customer Experience team and lead the strategy, planning and delivery of our national trade marketing and promotional campaigns.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Planning, you’ll be responsible for turning business and trading priorities into integrated campaigns that connect with customers and deliver measurable commercial outcomes.

This is a commercially focused role that sits at the intersection of customer, brand and sales performance. You’ll use customer and market insights to shape campaign and media strategy, work closely with our Category and Retail teams to understand what the business needs, and bring trade campaigns to life across our stores, website, digital, CRM, TVC, catalogues, and other channels.

You’ll have ownership across the trade campaign lifecycle - from promotional planning and creative briefing through to media, execution, performance analysis and optimisation.

You’ll also lead and develop a small team, creating clarity, accountability and capability while working collaboratively across the broader Marketing & Customer Experience function.

Description

You will be responsible for

• Leading the strategy and delivery of integrated trade marketing campaigns across AU & NZ
• Developing and manage the trade marketing and communications calendar and 18-month campaign and media plans aligned to trading priorities
• Lead creative briefing, campaign development and execution across in-store POS, ATL media (TVC, catalogues), digital, CRM and retail channels
• Partner with Category, Retail, Digital and CRM teams to shape promotional strategy, offers and mechanics that deliver a connected customer experience and maximise campaign impact
• Track campaign performance, ROI and commercial outcomes, using insights to optimise activity and inform future campaigns
• Manage campaign budgets and identify opportunities to improve marketing efficiency, production costs and return on spend
• Lead, coach and develop the campaign team through clear goals, feedback and accountability

Skills and Experiences

You’ll bring

• 7+ years’ marketing experience with a strong trade marketing focus, ideally within retail or an omnichannel business and people leadership experience
• Proven experience developing and delivering integrated trade campaigns across multiple channels
• A strong understanding of the AU & NZ marketing and media landscape and experience with ATL media buying, including TV and catalogue distribution
• Experience in print production and managing printers
• A commercial mindset with the ability to connect marketing activity to sales, trading priorities and ROI
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across the business
• Strong analytical, project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities
• Experience with project management platforms, with an interest in using AI and emerging technology to improve marketing effectiveness
