Role Overview

We are looking to hire a Senior Accountant to own core accounting operations across our Canadian, US, and UK entities.

Core Responsibilities

• Production Payments : Match invoices to POs, prepare payment summaries by supplier, and maintain the prepaid workbook.
• Shopify : Reconcile the Canadian entity's ecommerce and retail store activity monthly.
• Month-End & Year-End Close: Execute close procedures, journal entries, and accruals.
• General Ledger & Reconciliations: Maintain the general ledger, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies.
• Audits & Compliance: Support external audits and assist with quarterly VAT returns and annual filings

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years of accounting experience, including AP and multi-currency reconciliations.
• Working knowledge of VAT and Canadian sales tax.
• Advanced Excel; Shopify and Microsoft Dynamic experience an asset.
• Bilingual English/French.
