About the role

Lead the development of regional media strategy and planning across markets, translating business and brand objectives into clear media approaches. The role focuses on strategic thinking, planning frameworks, market guidance, and integration, rather than day-to-day campaign execution or platform activation.

Key responsibilities

  • Translate consumer, cultural, category, and media insights into clear strategic opportunities and recommendations.
  • Create regional planning frameworks that local market teams can adapt and activate.

  • Connect brand strategy, creative thinking, commerce, social, and media into an integrated planning approach.
  • Lead regional planning for major campaigns, launches, and annual planning cycles.
  • Challenge local plans to ensure they ladder back to the regional strategy while allowing for local market realities and opportunities.
  • Identify cross-market trends, learning, and innovation opportunities that can improve future planning.
  • Partner with local agency teams and specialist functions to ensure strategic intent is carried through into activation.
  • Develop compelling strategic narratives and present recommendations to senior regional clients.
  • Establish planning principles and measures of success, then use campaign learning to inform future strategy rather than manage campaign optimization directly.
