About the role

Location: Hyderabad (in-office)

Function: Creative & Packaging Design

Role Overview

This role owns packaging and graphic design for Earthful's launches: primary packaging, leaflets, product mockups, and the digital creative that goes with every launch, including website and marketplace images and Meta static ads. You will use AI tools to build on-brand visuals and refine the output until it is ready to use. You will work directly with print vendors to get designs production-ready and color-accurate, and you will keep every final file organized and easy to find. You will work closely with the creative and growth teams on briefs, with Compliance on what has to appear on a pack or an ad, and with Procurement on what a vendor can actually produce.

What You'll Own

Packaging Design

  • Design new packaging (primary packaging) for new product launches, from concept through to print-ready files. Volume varies by launch cadence
  • Make content edits to existing packaging whenever required: ingredient list updates, claim changes, or regulatory-driven edits

Digital, Marketplace & Ad Creative

  • Design Meta static ads for campaigns and launches, to the brief and on brand
  • Use AI image tools to create visuals that match the brand's tone and language, and retouch and combine the output so it is clean and consistent before it is used
  • Create website and marketplace listing images and product creatives for new launches, typically around 10 images per product depending on launch requirements
  • Design leaflets for new product launches

Mockups, Flat Lays & Design Approval

  • Produce product mockups and packaging flat lays for stakeholder review, so every design gets a clear final approval before it goes to print or goes live
  • Build a moodboard and references for each new campaign or launch, so the design direction is easy to explain and agree

Vendor & Print Production Coordination

  • Coordinate with vendors on print preview files, so design and illustration approvals happen accurately and on time
  • Check print proofs against the approved design for color accuracy (Pantone/CMYK) and illustration fidelity before production sign-off

File & Asset Management

  • Organize and archive all final files systematically, with layered, editable project files (PSD or AI) saved alongside print-ready outputs, so approved artwork is easy to find, edit, and reuse

Working With Other Teams

  • Work with Regulatory & Compliance so that every pack and every ad carries the mandatory FSSAI and Legal Metrology declarations, and so that any claim shown is checked before final approval
  • Work with Procurement early on packaging material specs and vendor capabilities, so designs are print-feasible and cost-appropriate before they are finalized
  • Work with the creative and growth teams on ad briefs and testing, so static ads are made to brief and on time
  • Maintain a brand style guide (colors including Pantone references, typography, logo usage) so consistency holds across packaging, leaflets, ads, and website

What We're Looking For

Experience

  • 1–3 years of professional design experience, with packaging design for FMCG, D2C, or consumer products taken from concept to a print-ready file. This is not a fresher role, and internships alone do not count
  • A portfolio that shows both packaging or print design and digital creative (ads, website, or marketplace images). This role needs both
  • Some experience working with print vendors or printers on proofs and production files
  • Highly organized, with a clean, structured file and folder system

Software & Tools

  • Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop: non-negotiable, used daily for packaging artwork and creative assets
  • Hands-on use of AI image tools (for example Midjourney, DALL·E, Adobe Firefly, or Photoshop's generative tools), with the eye to spot and fix flaws and keep results on brand
  • Adobe InDesign for leaflets and multi-page layouts, and Adobe Acrobat for preparing print-ready PDFs
  • CorelDRAW is a plus, since it is still widely used by Indian packaging vendors. Figma is a plus for collaborative review
  • 3D or mockup tools (Adobe Dimension, KeyShot, Rhino, or Blender) and basic motion work in After Effects are strong plusses. Photoshop-based mockup templates are the minimum

Print & Color Knowledge

  • Working knowledge of the Pantone Matching System (PMS) for spot-color specification and brand color consistency across print runs
  • Comfortable in CMYK for print and RGB for digital, and knows when to use which
  • Understands dielines, bleed, trim, and safe area conventions for packaging and print collateral
  • Familiar with common packaging print processes (offset, flexographic) and substrates, enough to know what is actually printable.
