We have survived the last 7 years (started in 2016) without this company description, but recently we were asked to make one as it is required as per the norm (similar to the least visited “Privacy Policy” and “Terms & Conditions” thing) to hire peeps to work with us. This is a full-time on-site internship for a Marketing Generalist Intern at ComicSense, located in the Hidden Hills of Dehradun. “Generalist” here means exactly what it sounds like — you will touch ads, email, content, analytics, and whatever else is on fire that week. On a normal day you might pull last week’s Meta Ads numbers into a sheet, write captions for a Haikyuu drop, set up an email flow for a restock, research what competitors are running, and sit in on a shoot. We are a small team, so nobody here does one thing.

You will not be fetching coffee and you will not be watching from the sidelines. You will be given actual accounts, actual budgets, and actual customers, which is terrifying and also the fastest way to learn marketing that exists.

Qualifications

• Comfortable with spreadsheets. Not “I know Excel” on a resume — actually able to take a messy export and turn it into something that answers a question.
• Basic understanding of how paid ads work (impressions, CTR, CPC, ROAS, CPA). You don’t need to have run campaigns, you need to know what the words mean and why they matter.
• Can write. Captions, email subject lines, ad copy, product descriptions — clear, punchy, and in our voice, not ChatGPT’s like this Job post.
• Curiosity about why numbers moved, not just what they are
• Willingness to learn tools on the fly — Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, Brevo, WooCommerce, whatever we throw at you.
• Ability to work independently. We will give you context and a goal, not a checklist.
• Strong attention to detail. A broken link in a 10,000-person email campaign is a bad day for everyone.
• Weebs who have wasted a sh*t ton of their lives watching anime are preferred.

PS: This is a full-time, on-site internship in Dehradun, 9-5, sadly. Stipend: ₹10,000–15,000/month, negotiable for someone whose work speaks for itself.
