About the role
Watermen's Bar & Grill in Waves, NC is seeking candidates for the Line Cook position. This is an annual seasonal position with competitive pay, upward mobility, employee housing options and REAL Watersports property perks.
The Line Cook role is responsible for preparing all Watermen's menu items to standard. This is accomplished in an extremely high volume, fast paced and efficient kitchen. This person will be working in very close proximity to others on the team and is expected to maintain professional demeanor and mesh well with the rest of the crew.
Hours can range from 8 - 12 hours a day, up to 5 - 6 days a week.
Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing fish, steak, chicken, turkey, shrimp and crab using a flat top, char grill, sautee and ovens.
- Preparing wraps, sandwiches, quesadillas and salads
- Preparing sauces, marinades, salsa, dressings and prepping back stocks
- Daily cleaning projects
- Helping with dishes as needed
