On-siteWestern Cape, South AfricaFull-timePosted 7 days ago

About the role

At WBWR, we build digital experiences that people love to use. From high-performance websites and custom web applications to mobile apps and Shopify ecommerce stores, we partner with ambitious brands to create products that are intuitive, scalable, and built around real customer needs.

We’re a collaborative team of strategists, designers, developers, and digital specialists who believe great work comes from combining creativity, technology, and a deep understanding of the end user.

The Opportunity: CRM Specialist

We’re looking for a CRM Specialist to take ownership of customer relationship management, lifecycle marketing, and automated customer engagement.

This role is focused on much more than sending email campaigns. You’ll be responsible for building automated customer journeys, using consumer data to create personalised experiences, and leveraging CRM, CDP, analytics, and AI tools to understand and influence customer behaviour.

You’ll play a key role in helping our clients improve customer engagement, retention, loyalty, and overall customer value.

Responsibilities

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a CRM, email/MarComms marketing, lifecycle marketing, or similar role.

  • Hands-on experience using Klaviyo, Braze, Netcore, or similar.
  • Proven experience building automated flows and customer journeys, not just sending campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of CRM, lifecycle marketing, segmentation, personalisation, and customer engagement.
  • Experience using CDP and data analytics tools to work with consumer behaviour data.
  • Experience using Artificial Intelligence to extract, transform, analyse, or utilise consumer behaviour data.
  • Exposure to loyalty or rewards programme management is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Experience in a digital, ecommerce, marketing, or agency environment is advantageous.

What We Offer

  • A collaborative and creative working environment.
  • The opportunity to work with ambitious brands and interesting digital products.
  • Exposure to CRM, lifecycle marketing, data, AI, ecommerce, and digital transformation.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • A team environment where initiative, creativity, and new ideas are encouraged.
