About the Role

We're looking for a Casual Retail Sales Assistant to join our new Paddington store team.

This is a customer-focused role for someone who loves jewellery, fashion, styling and connecting with people. You'll be responsible for creating a welcoming and memorable experience for every customer while supporting the team with sales and the day-to-day running of the store.

You'll be part of a close-knit retail team, working alongside our Store Manager and Senior Sales Assistants to ensure the store is always looking and performing its best.

Your Responsibilities

Customer Experience & Sales

• Welcome customers into the store and create a warm, genuine and personalised experience.
• Build relationships with customers and understand what they're looking for.
• Assist customers with jewellery selection, gifting, styling and special occasions.
• Confidently communicate our collections, materials and brand story.
• Offer thoughtful styling advice and product recommendations.
• Work towards individual and store sales targets.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and building complete looks.
• Build relationships with returning and VIP customers.
• Assist with customer enquiries, orders, returns, repairs and exchanges.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, from the moment a customer enters the store through to after-sales care.

Store Standards & Operations

• Maintain a clean, organised and beautifully presented store.
• Ensure jewellery displays are replenished and presented to Love Isabelle standards.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Process transactions accurately through Shopify POS.
• Assist with cash handling and daily store procedures.
• Assist with stock replenishment, transfers and stocktakes.
• Process online orders and local pickups when required.
• Support customer appointments and store events.
• Follow all Love Isabelle retail procedures and guidelines.

Teamwork & Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with the Store Manager, Senior Sales Assistants and wider retail team.
• Support Senior Sales Assistants and other team members during busy periods.
• Be proactive in learning and developing your product and sales knowledge.
• Communicate customer feedback and product insights with the wider team.
• Contribute to a positive, supportive and energetic store environment.

Previous retail experience is preferred, but we're also interested in candidates with a strong customer service background and the right attitude.
