Casual Retail Assistants – Seasonal

Spend your summer with Alpha60 Longer days, fresh collections and a little festive energy. We're looking for warm, enthusiastic people to join our retail store teams across all locations for the busy summer season.

The role

As a Seasonal Casual Retail Assistant, you'll help make every visit feel personal, welcoming and unmistakably Alpha60. From finding the right fit to helping someone choose a gift, you'll bring care, curiosity and positive energy to the shop floor.

Working alongside your Store Manager and team, you will:

• Create a memorable customer experience. Welcome every customer, listen to what they're looking for and offer thoughtful, personalised service.
• Style with confidence. Introduce customers to new shapes, suggest complementary pieces and help them find clothing they feel good in.
• Contribute to sales goals. Work towards store targets through genuine conversations, strong product knowledge and attentive service.
• Know the collection. Learn about our fabrics, fits, design details and garment care, and share this knowledge with customers.
• Keep the store looking its best. Stay on top of fitting rooms, replenishment and presentation, and support visual merchandising standards.
• Support smooth daily operations. Process purchases accurately, assist with deliveries and stock movements, and complete tasks with care.
• Be a great teammate. Communicate openly, take initiative and lend a hand wherever needed, especially when the store gets busy.

A little about you

You're approachable, reliable and enjoy making people feel welcome. You have an interest in Alpha60, a love of personal style and a willingness to learn. We'd love you to bring:

• Experience in retail, hospitality or another customer-facing role.
• Clear communication skills and a natural ability to connect with different people.
• A positive, collaborative attitude and a thoughtful approach to customer service.
• Confidence working towards sales goals as part of a team.
• The ability to stay organised, attentive and calm during busy periods.

Summer availability

These are seasonal casual positions running until the end of February 2027. You must be available to work throughout the Christmas and New Year period, including key trading days, with flexibility across weekdays, weekends, public holidays and extended trading hours.
