Selkirk Sport is hiring a remote Account Manager to grow our wholesale business across Australia and New Zealand. You'll open new accounts with specialty retailers, pickleball clubs, coaches and distributors, and help the partners we already have sell more Selkirk.

You'll work closely with our Wholesale, Marketing and Operations teams, and you'll take part in our commission program, so the accounts you build pay off for you too.

What you'll get to do

• New partners. Prospect for and open new wholesale accounts across Australia and New Zealand, from specialty retailers and clubs to coaches and distributors.
• Accounts that grow. Manage a portfolio of wholesale accounts and help them grow through upselling, cross-selling and broader product assortments.
• Real sales conversations. Reach out by phone, email and video, and present Selkirk products, programs, promotions and new opportunities to the people who make buying decisions.
• Support that keeps partners coming back. Give product education and merchandising guidance, answer sales questions, and help sort out order and service issues.
• A pipeline you can trust. Keep CRM records, activity notes, follow-ups and pipeline information accurate and current.
• A global team behind you. Partner with Operations on inventory, order status, shipping timelines and fulfillment, and with Marketing on campaigns that support your market. Share what you hear from customers and competitors so the whole team gets smarter.
• Time on court. Support promotional events, demos and partner activities as needed.

At Selkirk, AI tools are part of how work gets done, including in sales. We're looking for someone who already uses AI and technology to work smarter (researching prospects, preparing for calls, keeping follow-ups on track), or who can show us they pick up new tools quickly.

Who you are

You'll fit right in if you have

• 2+ years of experience in B2B account management, wholesale sales or inside sales
• Experience managing customer relationships and developing new sales opportunities
• Confidence leading sales conversations by phone and over video
• Strong communication, relationship-building and customer service skills
• The ability to juggle multiple accounts, follow-ups and priorities within a structured sales process
• Experience with a CRM and standard business tools
• The drive to own your sales activity and follow-through, working independently while staying connected to a global team
• Strong attention to detail and consistent documentation habits

Bonus points for

• Experience working with specialty retailers, clubs, coaches or distributors
• A background in sporting goods, consumer products or a related industry
• Familiarity with pickleball or the broader sports retail market
• Experience managing accounts in Australia or New Zealand
• A track record of hitting sales targets, activity goals or performance metrics

Where you'll work

This is a remote role based in Australia or New Zealand. Your teammates in Wholesale, Marketing and Operations work across several time zones, including the US, so some schedule flexibility comes with the territory. Occasional travel for events, demos and partner visits may be needed.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is AU$60,000 to AU$75,000 per year (Australia), plus participation in Selkirk's commission program.
